Here's a quick way to prepare tempeh when you are pressed for time:

1. Cut one INDONESIAN CUISINES tempeh block into four sections by
    cutting it in the middle.
2. Cut each section in thin slices about 1/4 inch thick or slightly thicker.
3. Place the pieces of tempeh in a plastic container large enough to
hold a solution containing 1/3 cup of water. Toss the tempeh while
sprinkling them generously with your favorite seasoning and spice.
Squirt fresh lemon juice over the tempeh
4. Deep-fry the tempeh pieces for about 4 to 5 minutes or until light to
medium brown in hot oil, stirring them occasionally to ensure that they
     are evenly fried.
5.
Place the fried tempeh on a plate lined with absorbent paper towel.
6. Serve hot or warm with rice and vegetables. Enjoy!
