One main reason why even the most health conscious individuals are not eating as much raw fruits and vegetables as they should was because it takes a long time to chew and to swallow them. Let us say
there are people who want to eat kiwi, tempeh, celery, carrot, okra, kale, black mushroom, tomato, garlic, orange, banana, apple, broccoli, red cargo rice, mung beans, nuts and grains, plus their other favorite fruits and vegetables. How long would it take to chew and eat them all? And how much time do they have to eat them before they must leave and go to work, or return to work from their lunch break? They do not have that much time to spend eating, do they?
Eating fruits and vegetables used to be a chore until I discovered that I can use my blender to do all the 'chewing' for me in less than 5 minutes. I gather all the raw fruits and vegetables, beans, nuts, grains, etc., in a blender, add a cup or more of good bottled water, and push the 'shred' or 'grind' button until they are "smooth". That is all to it. I then pour them in tall glasses and drink them. If I get 2 glasses, I drink one for breakfast, and one for dinner. Once I am finished I simply rinse my mouth, and I do not need to floss my teeth. You can bring a couple of 100% whole wheat bread (toast) with you in case you are still hungry at work....
Fruits, vegetables, tempeh, beans, and nuts are all high in fiber and rich in nutrition.
Enjoy your healthy drink.
