The picture on the left is a picture of a woman before she is married, has a husband, and children. The picture on the right is the picture of the same woman after she is married and has some children.
The picture in the middle is the picture of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. He was born on April 25, 1950. He is single, has never been married, and has no kids. You can still see him preaching on television every Saturday. He still looks the same at 67 years of age.
I recently chatted with a family member via WhatsApp who lives in Jakarta, Indonesia. He works at a Pentecostal church in Administration, and he has a two-year-old boy. He is an intelligent man with a Bachelor’s degree. I told him now that he has a Bachelor’s degree, why doesn’t he continue his schooling and get his Master and Ph.D. degrees. He said that right now he is saving his funds for his son's education. Well, there is nothing wrong with that, I told him. But, in my view, it is equally important, if not more important, that he invests in his education as well. Why, because he still has to support himself and his wife financially until they are old? He answered that he will raise his son “good,” implying that his son will take care of him when he grows up.
True, but he could not give me an answer when I asked him, “Who raises your son'swife”? Things will be different before and after his son grows up, get married, and has children - depending on who raises her.
