Oncom

Have you heard about Oncom, or Ontjom? Oncom is the solid residue that is left after peanut seeds have been pressed free of their oil. It is ground and is processed as fermented food in Indonesia, similar to tempeh, but has a much better flavor than tempeh, and is much richer in nutrition than tempeh.  We are doing some research, and if successful we hope we can introduce Oncom to the American consumers by sending out samples of dehydrated Oncom to everyone who begs ... LOL
